Short Talk Abstract Submission deadline: July 15th 2016
Short Talk Acceptance Notification: July 29th 2016
Poster Abstract Submission deadline: September 21st 2016
Conference Date: October 21st 2016

Abstracts Submissions are now open for Posters and Short Talks for the 3rd Annual IDIES Symposium. The submission deadline is July 15th 2016 at 5pm EST (DST).

The extended Poster Session and one-hour Short Talks Session will round out a day of keynote speakers, invited talks, collaboration, and insight with researchers in computational- and data-intensive research from Johns Hopkins and beyond. The Short Talks Session will feature up to four short oral presentations. Short Talk and Poster submissions topics should focus on big data tools, techniques, and their applications. In addition to the focus topic of this year’s symposium, Big Data in Healthcare, we hope to receive submissions covering a broad range of disciplines.

This all-day event will bring together researchers from Johns Hopkins with Government and Industry leaders to discuss the latest discoveries, practical ideas, and insights in Big Data.
