Fast GPU Algorithm on Dark Matter Annihilation for Visualization and Science Research Abstract Poster

We present a fast GPU algorithm for computing the Dark Matter annihilation or decay. Compared to the usual CPU algorithm, our algorithm gains 1000 folds speed up. This allows us doing fast numerical experiments on large N-body simulation data sets. Based on this algorithm, we presented useful possible templates for fitting the observations to constrain the physics of Dark Matter. We also provide an online interface for people to use a cloud version of this algorithm, which enables people read out the annihilation/decay signals directly from the simulation server without worrying about downloading the large data or code.
