The one-hour Short Talks Session will take place in the Sheldon Hall Auditorium and round out a day of keynote speakers, invited talks, collaboration, and insight with researchers in computational- and data-intensive research from Johns Hopkins and beyond. The Short Talks Session will feature up to four short oral presentations. Short Talk topics will focus on big data tools, techniques, and their applications. In addition to the focus topic of this year’s symposium, Big Data in Healthcare, we have received submissions covering a broad range of disciplines.

This all-day event will bring together researchers from Universities, Government and Industry leaders to discuss the latest discoveries, practical ideas, and insights in Big Data.
