2018 IDIES Annual Symposium

The Institute for Data Intensive Engineering and Science will hold the 2018 Annual Symposium at the Mudd Hall Auditorium on Friday, October 19, 2018. The symposium brings together experts in Big Data from across Johns Hopkins University, the government and industry to share their discoveries, techniques, ideas, and insights. Our focus is on a multi-disciplinary data-intensive approach to solving critical problems in science, medicine, engineering, and more.
The symposium will include Keynote talks, Updates from IDIES Seed Fund Awardees, Posters and more. The emphasis is on developing a synergistic atmosphere in which to share and solve problems, techniques, and experiences. Continental breakfast and lunch are provided. The symposium is followed by a cocktail reception.
