Please submit your Hackathon Registration to save your spot!

IDIES affiliates enjoy priority registration at the JHU Hackathon location. Priority registration ends at 5 PM on January 18, after which non-affiliate registrations will be processed. If you are not yet an affiliate, you may join IDIES to take advantage of priority registration. If you are registered for the Hackathon, once you join your registration will become prioritized. Please go to idies.jhu.edu/join/ to find out how to become a member.

After 5 PM on January 18th, 2019, registration will remain open on a first-come, first-served basis as space allows. 

Goals

  • Explore visualizations for Machine Learning and other applications
  • Meet colleagues from other fields who share similar visualization problems
  • Share knowledge, tips and techniques
  • Create demos and tutorials, develop new resources
  • Learn and teach by example

Tools and Organization

Leading up to the hackathon, we will use Slack to discuss the schedule, topics, and preparation. You will be invited to Slack once registered. We will share resources on GitHub, Google Drive, and JH Box. 

Restrictions

Attendance at JHU’s Homewood campus is capped at 40 attendees.

Attendance at the University of Toronto campus is capped at 25 attendees.

This event is open to all. However, IDIES members receive priority registration at the Johns Hopkins Homewood location.
