IDIES will provide access to datasets, computing resources, and mentoring to participants from all over the world as they work intensively for 36 hours to solve an important medical issue.

Participants will work with biomedical data through the IDIES-supported SciServer science platform.

As a branded sponsor, IDIES will provide a prize to the hacker group that makes the best use of SciServer’s big data resources to benefit medical science.

In particular we will make a subset available of the data underlying the AstroPath platform.
